I have been dealing with hypothyroid for years. Some docs are good at treating it and some don't know much.

If you aren't happy with the treatment contact me. I take stuff from the health food store.

hillbille - Your bit reminds me of what the author of Hagakure mentioned way back when where how the men responded to women's medication.

the seaweed dulse can swell and burst your thyroid gland. it is high in iodine. Chia seeds (salavia mexicana) can swell your salivary glands.

Milkweed gave me a rash. Small can of Chipotle gave me a rash over 1/3 of body and disappeared after 30 minutes. Stick to plain, non-processed food.

haven't been able to notice any difference yet, worse thing is taking the medicine first thing in the morning, then not being able to eat or drink for an hour, I am used to my coffee first thing after I get up.........

Well, let me know. I am treating a serious case of hypothyroid with supplements from the health food stores, and doing well with it.

    Number one supplement is iodine.

I've had some experience with incompetent doctors.
