I think I got the deal of the century.

I finally decided to pull the trigger on a new grill. Went to lowes expecting to buy a charbroil. They had a Weber genesis 325 display model marked down to 498. It was missing a knob, and as I'm looking it over a fella comes over and asked if I was interested. I asked about the control knob and he said I could have it for half off and have a knob shippedin a couple days. Long story short I picked up a thousand dollar grill for less than $300.

    Webber has excellent customer service. They will set you up & have your info on file whenever you call. The knob, or any other part will be no problem. Great buy ***

    Good deal. Have a Weber over 20 years. Think it is a Silver. Original burners still going strong and replaced flavor bars(?) once. Grill part is cast iron.---------------Ray

    Great grills, we got ours about 6 or 7 years ago and we just purchased one for our son and daughter-in-law for their new house. They had their builder run a natural gas line out to the deck so we went with the Genesis e-435 natural gas. It is probably the last grill they will ever need. I think ours is an e420

    That's all fine and dandy, Paul, but what we really want to know is when and where is the BBQ going to be and will it be ribs, burgers, or ribeyes?

    That's a looney price! I don't need one but for that money, ohh yea. Make my steak medium, and will have a Brat also.

    most are recommending a pellet grill

    I'm not sure what to get

    they seem to be marking the prices down here lately

    Good deal for sure! Nearly 20 years ago, I was looking at a Kenmore propane smoker at a Sears outlet store. The floor model on display had a bad leg on it and the salesman let me take it home for 45 bucks. Saved a hundred! Took me a couple minutes to rivet that bad leg back on and that smoker is still going strong!

    Webers are great grills. We live in military housing, and when transfer season arrives, you can find just about anything you need out on the curb. Last month, we scored a huge stainless Weber right down the street. Wheeled it home, hooked up a propane tank, and we’ve been grilling like crazy.

    Sometimes its better to be lucky than good I need a new grill well a better one bought a cheap charbroil to get thu a couple years until I find a great deal as you did .. your a lucky fellow on that

    congrats on the timing of being in the right place right time

    a couple years back I went into town to the TSC pick up some chicken feed for the wife's pets

    just as i parked the manager was placing a Honda powered pressure washer in the discount area price 100.00

    I did not see the price at first as I was in my truck but history told me to jump on it I did a fast walk from my truck laid clams and told the gal to ring it up with out even letting it go I pushed it to the counter and into my truck LOL

    I ask the the manager as I was loading it up if he had any idea or what was suppose to be bad he said it was just brought back had no idea the customer had bought it a few days before and just said it would not work .

    I know how people will buy such items to get one job done use it then return it , then claim some issue and get refunded ( I picked up a lawn mower the same way a few years earlier ) and took the chance on the presure washer . got it home added gas and its worked great , since I knew the parts if it was busted beyond repair ( unlikly as parts are cheap ) were worth the 100 dollars . it best deal i had stumbled on in along time and nothing since 😥
