One makes about as much sense as the other.
But, it is not loan forgiveness it is debt reassignment to the tune of about $2,000 for every tax payer in America.
While we are on the subject, since I am now paying for these deadbeats college debt can I claim them as dependents at tax time?🙃

Well the forgiveness was for families making single 75k a yr or 150 joint. Folks that have graduated and cannot pay it back. Forgive me for bringing it up but if they are making that sum a yr.. why not?

Because they spend their money on all the latest and greatest toys that Apple comes out with. Because they have a new car payment that is huge because it would be a horror if they had to buy a used one. They eat out once a day and also spend a ton on stuff like Starbucks coffee. They are addicted to instant gratification and have no concept of saving or money management. 10's of millions are just one paycheck from disaster but they have a lot of neat toys that they bought on credit.
Sorry for the rant, but I calls em like I sees em. Bob
