No Joe, our son left the department about 20 months ago. Went back to school and earned his MBA.
This is a company he has been with for about a year. But, he has been considering going back to the force and he informed his VP about his thoughts. My son really likes the company he works for and wanted to give them lots of notice about leaving. About a week later the VP comes to him tells him all the right things, offers him a huge raise ($XX,XXX) and a company vehicle as a way of saying how much they want him to stay. Anyway It is nice to be wanted and appreciated so we shall see if he stays or goes back to policing. Personally I hope he stays, the pays is much better than what he was making as a homicide detective, and obviously much better working conditions.

I'm jealous. My company cars were mostly Chevy Vegas and Ford Pintos. The only jeep I got to use was a 1/4 ton..

Aren't great children wonderful!! My 23 year old's company vehicle is a Ford F-350 pulling a trailer with a Cat track hoe on the trailer.
We both have reasons to be REALLY, REALLY proud Dad's!!

Dreher, I am so grateful for the very close relationship I have with my two children and I feel very blessed with how successful and happy each of them are.
