So I thought I would just say hello. I'm from Northern Commifornia I have a California CCW and enjoy shooting my .22 LR with ammo prices so high. Other interests include my Border Collies and 1950 Studebaker pickup. In the near future I'm looking for a Remington Rolling Block#4 🥰 Did I mention I'm what Brandon calls a MAGA Republican? In truth I'm a constitutionalist like my Great grandfather Harry Phillips.

Those Studebaker pickups are pretty trucks. I used to live just below the California state line between Reno and Lake Tahoe. Beautiful country.

Welcome! There has been one of those trucks parked by the side of the road at a mechanics shop for MANY years out here in Alabama. I'm sure several people have tried to buy it from him. I'm one of the femail forum users here. I work with a small team of people that sell on Gun Broker. I love Border Collies....I've never had one of those breeds, but I have family that do.

Welcome. Any guy with a Stude is OK in my book. I never had a truck but I did buy a '53 Lowery coupe in '56. 6 cly O.D. Loved that car and got 30 mpg not that it mattered back then. In '58 I put a 301 mouse in it and managed to get the mileage down to 3. Finished welding up the exhaust late on a September night and drove to Madison, WI from my home in Peoria for the first day of class. I didn't have time for throttle linkage so I had a coat hanger through the firewall w/ vice grips for my hand throttle. Those were the days!

Growing up, my dad always drove Studebakers, I feel a little ignorant here but I have never seen a Studebaker pick-up truck.
I have however seen a factory built Rolls Royce pick-up.

I didn't even know Studebaker made a truck. One of my mom's friends drove a late-50s Golden Hawk or something like that. Never a big Studebaker fan.
Have you been lurking in the shadows to get a feel for this place? I did for 10 years before I finally feel into the hole.

Studebaker made the Golden Hawk, the Silver Hawk and the President that I remember. Dad drove the president until he finally bought the Golden Hawk. Nice ride in the day.

I have always loved Border Collies but knew having a dog that was smarter than me could at some point lead to trouble!
