...Karma would be even better if the dog owner was chained up like he chains up his dog, but maybe a $10,000 fine & 30 days in jail would teach him a lesson...the Lab should be re-homed asap, to someone that appreciates him...here in Texas we made it illegal for dogs to be chained, a GOOD thing...

Good on all involved, dogs neighbors, you, your neighbor and his friend. Occasionally it seems like there is hope for society when you hear of good things like this happening.

Last night Judy went to the big fundraising dinner for the cancer charity that we have our yearly skeet/sporting clay shoot to support. This is a charity that helps local cancer patients with financial help for things like groceries, utility payments, car repairs so they can get to their treatments and a myriad of other things. The dinner was sold out and they raised an additional $30,000+ last night. So there are still a few good folks out there like you and your friends. Keep it up, karma ain't always a bitch, sometimes it's a good thing. Bob

I agree with you Texas. I hate when people do this to a dog. Why even own one, if that is how you are going to treat it? I'm trying to give the Owner the benefit of the doubt. πŸ€”

My dog (Buddy) lucked out when I brought him home from the Rescue. (So did I.) He is TOTALLY Spoiled. I Thank God on a regular basis for him. (I lucked out, as well.)

*Remember what God said: "What You Do For The Least Of Mine, You Do For Me." (Or thereabouts)

I'd offer to adopt the dog ASAP, but Buddy (as good as he is) will not tolerate another dog/animal around him. Alpha Pit mentality.

*Thanks BobJudy, I agree. Felt good trying to help/do something good for an animal in need. I suggested that the Owner, put the dog house inside the Wood Shed. I asked that if the neighbors see/understand that the dog is totally NOT using it (or) the Owner refuses to utilize it, I get it back in order to help another dog in need, or a future Rescue for me.

I do not think that is unreasonable. (?)

Too funny. Just talked to my buddy on the phone. (He had been texting me.) Wanted to know if I was available tonight to get the top from his garage. (Off today, so yeah.)

I asked him why his friend just did not return the top? Turns out his Wife is a "handful," and ordered the top without talking to the husband. (Confirming the year/model.) His Jeep has the half doors where the top half is also a soft/zipper down window. (Earlier year than mine.) They got in an argument about her not talking to him and just spending $$ without communicating. (Bought a Harley without consulting him, etc.) She got mad and refused to return it and he wants nothing to do with it.

    Score for Ken. πŸ‘

You done good! In Ohio the fine is stiff for chaining a dog out that long.

Thanks all. Wasn't doing it for compliments. (But) Decided to post it, after the top fell in my lap. Good Karma.

Too good to be true. πŸ‘πŸ˜

What I gave away, was about $350'ish. What I got in return, was about $5-600'ish.

*I do not believe things like this happen by accident. πŸ€”

I've never had a dog that would go into a dog house on its own. Even my crate trained ones.

Well Mr. Perfect, if that dog was chained outside in the rain or freezing - it probably would. IMHO.

    At least I tried.

Yeah Ricci, that's me standing there, leaning on the hood.

    So I like pink/purple. It doesn't make me a bad person. πŸ€”πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚
