I have great memories of the Uncompahgre National Forest........from hunting the area in the late 70's and mid 90's.
The Rockies are awe inspiring!!

David ,,,,, in that area there are quite a few bulls with that dark rack. Genetics or ????, I don’t know. No more drawn tags in that huge area the bulls can get quite old.
