I hope whoever shot that sign did so before it was mounted to the side of the cabin.

Engrave your name on your belt buckle. Will make positive ID of remains so much quicker.

Bear attacks 10-year-old in grandparents' Connecticut backyard, tries to drag him away before being fatally shot
"I saw his leg in the bear's mouth and the bear trying to drag him across the lawn," the boy's grandfather said.

    Pretty good advice.

My first duty station was Ft. Richardson, Alaska. Absolutely hated wearing my dog tags, but any time I was out in the woods I had them somewhere on me. Didn't matter if I was headed for the middle of a lake in a canoe, I had my dog tags.

Wrestlers from Northwest College in Wyoming were taken by helicopter on their way to hospital from the scene of a bear attack in Shoshone National Forest on Oct. 15. (Park County Sheriff's Office)
