got another warranty issue..............

we just had a new metal roof installed last week, it was about $1000 more than shingles but it was done in one day and got new 6 inch gutter and downspouts with it. Was talking to/ paying the boss as they were finishing up and I asked him how long he guaranteed the roof, I was joking and said if it don't leak for 5-10 years it will outlast me, he looked at me funny and the metal came with a 45 year warranty! I just looked at him and said now you are just rubbing it in aren't ya. guess mamma will stay dry after I'm gone............

  You will like living under a metal roof hillbille! On those rainy days the sounds will help put you to sleep at night! One of the best features that came with my current home was the metal roof. Been here 7 years and know unless a major tornado disaster, plane crash, or a bomb attack, will never worry about needing a new roof.
