.44mag Fans -
I started by buying a Ruger Semi-Auto Carbine. (Years back) Guys at the Gun shop (when it came in) were like, "Nice 10/22." I said "Nope," and angled the barrel end towards them to see. Being a huge rifle/pistol combo guy, I added a Ruger Super Blackhawk (7.5" barrel) to pair up with it, and recently (B-day) treated myself to a Henry Steel Side Gate (lever action) Carbine.
What do you have?
I will try and post pictures of mine here, at some point. (Problematic due to "Terrain Issues.")
*I especially like the .44 Special/.44mag duality/capability. (Akin to .38Special/.357mag loadings.)

I have and am a fan of the Redhawk. It's stout and can handle loads that the Smiths can't. The rosewood grips look nice but the houge aftermarket ones I put on it make it much more comfortable to shoot.
Mostly I've switched to packing the 10mm for the backwoods. The Redhawk is 5.5 lbs empty and I'm not as young as I used to be.

My Ruger Semi-Auto Carbine, has a Simmons Pro-Hunter Diamond Reticle Shotgun Scope on it. Great close in, fast aquisition scope that will stand up to the recoil.
Everything else, is standard sights.

In 44 mag I have 2 Super Black Hawks 7.5 inch barrels, 1 Super Redhawk Alaskan 2.5 inch barrel and like Mr. P. I like the wood grips for looks, but the Hogue Tamer Monogrip makes it nicer for older guys to shoot, I only have it on the Red Hawk. I also have a Win 94 Trapper carbine in 44 and a Rossi 44 big loop "Mares leg" although I think they call it by a different name...maybe a "Ranch Hand" I think. too lazy to look it up right now. I think that is all of the ones in 44, but I may have a few others, it is my favorite caliber...

Looks like I'm low man on the totem pole.
My only 44mag is a S&W 629 Classic Hunter 6"..........still unfired. 😶
Now .17 calibers........that's another story. 😋

I have a Marlin 1894PG ported with a 16" barrel and a S&W 629 with the 8 3/8 barrel. That Marlin I have is pretty rare. I haven't seen one on GB or at a show in many years.

I've never tried .44Special in the Carbine, Steve.
Just fine in the Revolver and new Henry Lever action. 👍

I was a huge 44mag fan and had 6-7 of them at one time. Now I have 3 a S&W MTN Revolver and a 5.5 inch redhawk. I don't have any rifles anymore in 44 mag but have had several in the past. My favorite hunting revolver was a S&W classic 6.5" with a 2x Leupold on it. I don't hunt anymore but at one time I was a almost exclusive handgun hunter. I like the redhawk it is bomb proof and the S&W is the the ultimate. I have a 4in blued S&W Pre m29 that I really like. I have had few ruger SA 44s but I like to shoot cast bullets so I lean to the Winchester and marlin guns. I don't know much about the Henry guns but they look ok except for the stupid brass frame. I have had a few TC barrels in 44 mag and they all shot very well. The largest animal I ever took with a 44 was a Bull elk it was a big bodied guy and i got him at abot 70 yards on the Olympic pen in WA.
My favorite load was Elmer Keiths.

S&W 5" 629-4 and a 6" 629-3 unfluted classic hunter, but no rifle pairing. I do however, own a S&W model 57 and 58 that go well with my Marlin lever gun in 41 magnum...

Marlin 1894 but my favorite and my "meat" gun is a stainless Black Hawk 10 1/2" brl. that I had ported and had trigger work done. Probably took twenty some deer with it and all but one on the first shot. Topped with Leupold M-8 2X. Use a 300 gran. Copper H. P. Hornady with a win. primer. Set lead to the upper ring. Powder is 25 grns. of #296-DEADLY.

Bought a 4" Model 29 from a widow disposing of husband's guns. In the box, with the original paperwork. She said her husband had said he'd shot it 6 times- and gave me a box of ammo with six missing.

I acquired a 7-1/2" barreled Super Blackhawk earlier (April, May?) this year. This is the first 44 magnum I have ever owned.

We inherited my wife's grandmother's Ruger 44 mag carbine about 20 years ago. It was born in 1962, and came with the original box of Remington hollow points, with four expired casings inside.
The gun is in like new condition and is my wife's deer hunting favorite.
Her grandfather had great taste guns, as there are several more cool ones including a Lefever double, and a Stevens Favorite.

Ruger Super Blackhawks: 3-screw and new model stainless. Ruger Bisley and an early flat top. Winchester 94, Ruger 77/44, and Remington 788.

Sam06 - the Henry is available in many different models/compositions. Mine is the Steel Carbine Side Gate. All steel receiver (the Brass is the "Classic," model.) My Carbine is a little shorter, can tube load or "Side Gate." Very nice Walnut with excuisite checkering. Lever is not a standard or large loop, but kinda in between. Extremely well made/finished.

Love the Keith 44. Own rifle and pistol. My problem with guns in 44 is I dont have enough of them.

I just got done shooting my MDL 29 Classic at 50 and 100 yard steel. It sure makes a nice ring when it hits.

Have a Ruger Carbine that I still use for hunting thick woods, also a S&W 29-2 4'' barrel, and a Taurus 44 6'' barrel.
Now if I just had the time and a place to shoot them ....

I forgot about my latest one: A Ruger Super Blackhawk convertable with the extra cylinder in .44-40.
