Took a swig out of a spit bottle once. After losing lunch, the spitter had the rest dumped on his head.

...Ive been chewin' and dippin' for a long time...with Redman, I spit...with Skoal, I dont spit...a great mix is a big wad of Redman in your palm, then a three finger dip of Skoal in the middle of the Redman, wad it up and chew away....as old Walt used to say..."sure is relaxin'"...good stuff...

Back in high school some of us use to chew or dip and spit all we could to try and make weigh ( not sure if it helped at all) Anyway I continued to chew even after high school and landed on a chew called Workhorse in the plug form.

One day we tried some of the dry twist, I think the brand was Mammoth Cave. man oh man if you could chew that dry twist stuff you were somethin else.

When I was about 15 my older sister's boyfriend gave me a dip. I kept it in for a while and when we drove home I turned green and puked all down the side of his truck. Haven't touched the stuff since.

Watched my older Bro. Take a "Chew," years back. Then, (after getting light headed and dizzy) watched him fall out of a 3 level barn, hitting several cross beams on the way down, while we were "Old School" hanging tobacco we had cut a few days previous. I was laughing so hard, I was crying.

    Good Times. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚

I chewed for about a year. When I went to get my teeth cleaned, the dentist told me to go back to smoking, that I would live longer๐Ÿ˜ฎ. He then showed me pictures of young adult and late teens, with tongue and jaw cancer from chewing. That was it for me. I know it doesn't effect everyone, but those pictures were disgusting.

Grew up farming country. Chewed Apple plug. Had joined the Army, learning to drive an M113 armored personnel carrier. In upper gear, whipping thru a broomstraw field- and I found an oak stump. Slapped me off the front of the hatch- swallowed my chaw. That was my last one.

Pulled up to a deep hole well being drilled in the Anadarko basin. Was met by heavy security, confiscating all matches, lighters and cigarettes/cigars. They were passing out various types of chewing tobacco and snuff. The bore hole was leaking gas and it was a calm day.

I tried Days Work in lieu of cigs ,,,,,,, broke me from ever trying chew again.

About 1960.......inside a '56 Pontiac Chieftain, cold and rainy outside, windows closed.......with a too-close relative chain smoking. ๐Ÿคฎ

Yep.............THAT cured me of EVER EVER trying cigs!!!๐Ÿ˜

Dipped Copenhagen from age 12 to age 25.

    Wifey wasnโ€™t a fan, so I quit.

Never was a spitter. Had my entire colon remove some 25 years after I quit.

Don't know if there was a correlation.
