I hate to say it, but I would do the very same thing if in their shoes. Why (??) would I possibly want to pump more of my vital resource ($$) out in order to reduce the price. I'd pump less, and get more for it.
It's simple Economics when you get right down to it.

Yes prices are gonna get worse, however FJB will continue to drain the reserves trying to buy votes, the funny part which seems to be escaping most folks is that OPEC+ hasn't been able to reach their stated goals for some time now and these "cuts" are just for phycological reasons more than actually reducing the crude supply. But at least my O&G investments are doing well.

Joe Biden with a few strokes of the pen brought domestic production of oil and natural gas to a halt as well as construction on several pipelines.
We were an energy exporter under Trump and gas was around $2 per gallon.
Biden along with a corrupt partisan media have been blaming everything from Trump, to the Ukrainian war, Russia, and China for inflation BIDEN caused. I for one aint buying that OPEC Bull*.

Best post in years! He is indeed a traitor, liar, and he doesn't pay his debts either. Morally bankrupt along with just plain bankrupt. Did I leave anything out? Life in prison would be good enough though.
