Gassed up on Friday 9/30 and the gas at Chevron was at $6.50. Now about two weeks ago (the last time I gassed up) it was $5.50. What happened?

Gas went up a dollar. Don

$6.50, yikes! I guess I shouldn't complain to much about my local stations being $4.19. That's about a .40 raise over what it was a month ago. Of course I am heading out today to fill a vehicle and a couple of five gallon cans for the mower and cyclone rake to get ready for leaf season. I could have done this a couple of weeks ago, but noooo, I had to procrastinate and it will cost me a few extra bucks. I sure miss when gas was 2 bucks a gallon but at least we are being saved from all those mean tweets. Bob

@jimdeere I'm pretty sure that OPEC cut is still just a rumor, we may find out tomorrow as I think that's when they meet again. I don't like the high prices of gas . but FJB's administration needs a reality check and if OPEC does cut that might be it.

Gas buddy says $2.89 lowest price here in North Texas area.

Per Bloomberg today.......OPEC+ is now considering a TWO million barrel per day reduction.......not just a one million barrel per day amount.

NYMEX price per barrel went up 2 to 3 dollars..........almost instantly.

    Hmmmmmmmm...........🤔

(edit: NYMEX wholesale gasoline also increased almost 17 cents per gallon.)

I noticed a couple stations charging 4.55 in Cadillac Michigan this morning. The rest in town were around 4.07. Usually means that prices will soon match with the high priced competitors! ☹️

With my tags coming in for the Caprice I can soon park the mini-van. Them V6 sucks down fuel like a V8 but they're gutless like a 4 banger. I do like the view from the mini-van riding high. But 16 MPG sucks (my Caprice gets 19/25 MPG aerodynamics?). I thought about buying or making a belly pan for the mini-van if that'll help with better miles per gallon.

There is only a limited amount of petroleum in the strategic reserves. Once Biden releases it all, gas has to go back up.

Last night going home, I noticed gas had went up 33 cents yesterday at one place. It had not went up yet at the Wal Mart fuel center. But it probably will today/tonight.

The last time I was in California, my mini van (Chrysler Town and Country) only got 15 mpg. I couldn't figure it out, because it usually got 20-22 mpg. When I left California, and filled up in Arizona, the mpg went back up to 20-22.

Not only is your gas expensive (I got gas yesterday in Texarkana, Texas for $2.84 per gallon) California gas is not as efficient as in other States.

Let’s see, when Joe took over there were 750 million barrels of oil in are strategic reserve, now we’re down to 350 million barrels, this is why gas went down. As soon as we can get rid of the 350 million left then we can really start begging to are enemies for them to increase production.

Brandon needs to go kiss the Prince of Arabia AGAIN and ASK HIM to increase oil production or is going to get worse about his re-election.

He might even think about giving Putin a call or get both of them on a conference call.

I suspect both of them guys voted for Brandon and will do so again.

Sure is getting disgusting for us tax paying peons having to suffer due to Brandons stupidity.
