I would imagine they'd be pretty hard on a golf course. Did you move?

Bought the house for the winter months. Much better access for my wife to see the grandkids.

Did not expect a moose within a lob wedge of the patio.

Golf, moose, grandkids, blah, blah, blah...

What we all really want to know is, are there any fish in the pond worth catching???

Some folks like to keep their honey holes a secret.

You need to just go right up to that cow moose and welcome her to the neighborhood.

If or when you get released from the hospital, let s know how it went.

I bet I could get that moose with a King Cobra DriverπŸ˜‰ Hell, I hardly ever hit the fairway anywayπŸ˜‚. Beautiful animal. Never seen one in person. The older I get, the less I enjoy hunting and the more I enjoy just seeing the animals.

I have stumbled upon several bulls within 15 yards or so during elk season and even with rifle in hand was scared spitless.

I have seen a cow moose at one of my favorite fishing lakes. Always gave her a wide berth even on and ATV. Then one year I'm expecting to see her at the lake, but she was with a bull. Fifty yards was way to close, so I backed up another 100 yards.

About 30 minutes later they both disappeared into the trees, so I got to fish the lake. A fifty mile ATV ride to fish the lake, caught fish, saw moose, and got to see a herd of elk.

    Not a bad day's adventure.

We used to have quite a few moose go through the golf course we played in upstate Maine when we lived in Maine.

Playing out of a divot is nothing compared to trying to hit out of a big bull moose track. We had a local rule it was clean and place if a ball landed in a moose track.

A lot of Canada Geese and ducks.

They both use it during golf season.

Are there any crazy geese there that like to land on roofs?

I you time your shot just right.......you might be able to "bank" the ball off the antlers and onto the green.

Not too many cows with antlers though.

That's the one. I remember seeing you post that picture, and out of the gazillion geese that I've seen, I've never seen one land on the roof of anything...

Have you seen any antlers in the treetops around your place Don? 😁
