dmv took over a month to cash my registration check
My tags expired 9/12/22 and I sent them a check 8/20/22 (or there abouts). Anyways they finally cashed my check on 9/30/22. I wondered if I put a stamp on the silly envelope but it got there and they cashed my check. Now I'm wondering if they're going to send me a notice of late payment because they didn't cash the check before the due date.

I'm not complaining I was informing and speculating. I'd be complaining if I got popped for expired tags.

Just got my tags 10/12/22. My tag expired 9/12/22. I get to drive my girl with fresh tag now and get more MPG compared to the gutless mini-van. I wonder if the battery is still good?
I'll park the mini-van and start packing her with not so well sealed food stuffs in preparation to the fumigation.
