I do hope they have to pay back every penny ever won and the value of all the gifts given to them for winning from the sponsors and have to go to jail for fraud and theft of course after getting there butt kick so hard they could use it for a hat

They have night fishing tournaments on a local lake.
Caught a couple fellows sneaking around to a hidden cove where they had stashed a hoard of fish in a underwater cage.
They did not fare to well.
Cheaters going to cheat no matter what.

Lot's of people have said "If you ain't cheatin'...........you ain't tryin'.........
Those people are cheaters.......humans are cheaters......humans seek to gain advantage over one another any way they can. At the same time, every human hates a cheater and hates being cheated. Sports teams try and steal signals.......people cheat on their taxes..........pyramid schemes and grifters are all over the place.
MY QUESTION IS...............in a fishing competition, why is it NOT.......that every fish caught and weighed..........subsequently gets filleted to make sure there is no funny business?

That said, I fished a bass tournament when the 2nd place winner had stuffed some weights in a couple of his fish. He went to jail for 60 days and was fined $1000.

Don't you use magnets to catch steelheads? (Unless, of course, if it's stainless steel). :-)

Most of boats use a judge that is aboard ... to look for penalties..
