Quit finding random deer stuck in trees during our annual hunts.

What a waste. I never found one like that but have found a couple that got tangled in fences. When their hind legs get tangled in the wire it either makes for a long slow death or a quick one if predators show up. Bob

He was teasing me. I shot it about 40 yards from there. I have a tendency to shoot deer who land in a tree after they run. 😆
He says I don't shoot them. I just find them like that. 🤣

In Michigan that would be a 2 1/2 year old and they don't get much better eating than that. Congrats on getting your freezer stocked. I have a couple that size around the house but I don't hunt here. It is more like grocery shopping with a gun than it is hunting. There are quite a few neighboring hunters around here and they never seem to let a deer get beyond a year and a half so the couple I am seeing is a rarity. Bob

I’ve shot deer and had them run into a tree or fence but never wedged into a tree, that’s unreal. Was it hard getting him out?

This doe went down quick but a stick ended up in her mouth

Seems like most of the deer I shoot end up dead in the deepest ditch or in the creek !!

Don't know how that deer didn't see that tree, It has a big orange ribbon tied around it.
Second deer, I thought it was biting that branch so wouldn't slide down that steep hill. 🎿🎿🎿

A hunting buddy shot a 9-point buck that ran to a young pine planting. He died standing against a few trees in a standing position. My friend said he almost shot it again because it was still on all fours! 🦌
