It's tracking you whether you use Siri or not. If you have a somewhat modern cell phone it hears every conversation you have.

It's all interconnected, they're just paring down what they have to interconnect.

Don't believe it? Just talk about something random like pink butterflies. Then later type pink b into Google and it will fill in the butterfly part. Just an example. Talk about something random or weird, then start typing it into Google and it WILL auto populate!

    Just sayin

You can definitely control/disable these features.

Having ā€œknownā€ some of you for many years, I’m afraid your lives aren’t that exciting and SIRI isn’t that interested to begin with. šŸ˜€

Have a discussion with a friend about riding lawnmowers. Then go on Google or Facebook as you normally would and see how many lawnmower ads they present to you.

Here’s how you fix that- from ā€œSiri & Searchā€ in your settings:

In this example, I am showing the AirBnB app-

Do they have a camera that can see through black electrical tape?

I get no ads, I have FIREFOX and all the do not track apps I can find. I NEVER see and ad for anything anywhere. SIRI has always been turned off on my Iphones. I have never used it and do not want it. I have every single thing that they offer turned off and still use the phone for calls and texts. I do not use Google EVER. I do not go online with my phone unless it is absolutely necessary then I will use FOREFOX only. I do not use any of the apps offered even if free on my phone. My computer camera has a hunk of duct tape over the lense, I have not and never will use it and never will.

The issue is with the upgrade you can not use a blue tooth headset and VOICE COMMAND to place a call any more with out having SIRI turned on. I am not going to do it.

I was discussing hookers with a friend on the phone, and, sure enough, the next time I got online a picture of my very angry wife appeared.

Apple, Microsoft, and Google are all evil. Period.

That's why I use my phone as little as possible, and why all my computers use Linux.
