Did your state refund any money?
Mom had a refund from Indiana a few months back..$300 dollars We got ours here in SC today. $800... Didn't expect anything but the state had excess money and refunded it to folks that completed tax returns. Windfall

Our car insurance company gave out 400 dollar per vehicle refunds earlier in the year after being mandated to do so by the state of Michigan. Does that count as a state refund??😁

Yeah, Judy and I got that refund from the catastrophic insurance fund too. I find it strange how governor Gretchen Witless campaigned on "fixing the damn roads" but then in her campaign bragged about the state having a surplus of a billion dollars. Roads still suck, so either spend that billion fixing them or give us a refund. Bob

...I don't understand this word "refund" ...I imagine any extra $$$ that Texas MIGHT have had, went to chasing down illegals streaming across our border, thanks to senile Biden and the Lefty administration loving an open border...that according to them, is actually a "closed" border..."refund", what a quaint idea...

I have noticed Governments, Federal, State and Local are excellent at taking and not so good at giving. But that could just be my perception.
