Just be careful out there. Too much turkey can lead to The Turkey Trots!

I hate this time of year. The grocery store (meat dept) where I work is crazy busy. We are having to add multiple 2K# pallets of Turkeys to our cooler/freezer inventory. Trying to keep them in stock on the floor is a constant struggle. Physically difficult.

Doesn't help that we have whole birds at .49cents/# if you spend $35 or more. (Which everyone does.) Had to work last Thanksgiving and missed my family get-together. Have this one off, schedule just came up.

Glad you had a good meal Select. 👍

Apparently, people eat turkey on purpose.

Turkey cold cuts, pretty much all year round, whole bird or just a breast of Turkey twice a year at most. Heard there was gonna be a shortage a few weeks back so I got one that week for Thanksgiving in the freezer, may get another before the holiday if they have em on sale when I go this weekend.

I take all that leftover turkey next day or two and run it through the grinder, then add pickle relish and mayo. we will eat a big mixing bowl of turkey salad faster than the left over turkey anytime........
