counting down the days
A few months back I posted about having a endoscope and a colonoscopy done , no fun by the way
well they found a tumor too large to tackle with out surgery its right at the intersection of my small and large intestines .
it has a good chance to become cancer along with just being a tumor blocking up traffic 😁 so early in Dec the 4th I think it is, I have to go in and have it removed the doc tells me at least two days maybe 4 or 5 days in the hospital depending on how it goes
I have to load up on antibiotics a couple days before to help normal procedures to fend off infections a huge deal on such operations oh and do the full system clean out again Oh joy 🤔
I will keep you updated . if you care or not 😁 I am not looking for any Symphany or prayers honest ther is way too many people even on this forum that are in more dire need of them than I and I think of them often
its just late night and trying to wind down to get some sleep so just dumping my thoughts on a captive audience 🤨

I find it no trouble at all to ask the Good Lord for everything to go well for you D\R with your upcoming surgery. Consider it done from here my friend.

Had my colon removed about 8 years ago because of a pre-cancerous blockage.
Do your homework. Grill your doctor about possible actions and responses during surgery. Make preliminary choices and relay them to whomever will be speaking for you during surgery. I made a bad decision and it resulted in two years of hell.
Have been 100% for the past six years.

When I had by bass surgery 17 yrs ago It was greater odds of my last sight was the op room and me counting down 100. 99 98 and out woke up ina panic for a few seconds just after they finished but they put me back under fast next time i woke up
I was in my room but spent 12 days mostly in intensive care .mostly they had the room and left me there there. but I did have several issues too may to go into and none were fun lol
the doc as he was getting ready and the team ask me if ok before starting to carve up the guest (me) all had a prayer for gudince and success.
I told the doctors you know I will never know if you screw up
Always a risk no matter how simple the surgery but odds are way in my favor

however I was telling my wifethis morning
I will just cancel surgery I think the risk of it out weigh the slight chance it may turn into cancer
Being cut open sections removed and the high possibilitof of staff infection or something going wrong out weigh the slight chance of cancer developing
For now
I am far from chickening out but my gut feeling just tells me to get a regular checkup Keep mongering if something changes .
My wife told me she was keeping quiet iys my choice but agrees the risk out weigh the slight beifet for now
And she was more worried about what could go wrong than a realy low chance of cancer Also
