Well I hope it heals nicely and no more needs to be found, although I have heard that "Chicks dig scars" so may be a benefit.

glad they got it and you doing well , and honest it does not look so bad .

I have a similar scar about the same place from the corner of my eye to just above my ear ( along with more in my face and nose) as a young fellow I was maybe 16 to 18 months old around 1958 I was standing up in the front seat between mom and dad not uncommon back then and a car hit us head on

they told me my head went thru the windshield now not sure if it went thru or even could at the time it was a 53 or 54 ford but what they told me happened I had 100 or so stiches to put my face back together .

I had similar surgery a few years back. They would remove some and then test it, remove some more and then test it, 3rd time was a charm. "Got it all. Would you like to see your skull before we close?" About the size of a 50 cent piece on my left temple. Down to the bone. Me, "Uh, No."

They removed skin from behind my left ear to skin graft/cover the hole. Nice scar. I occasionally get asked about it. I say I got shot. You should see the looks.

Glad they diagnosed it and got it. 👍

Melanoma just behind right ear,,,,,,,that spread to lymph glands, had neck resection, removal of 12 lymph nodes(7 were cancerous). Right collar bone 2” lower ,,,,,,,, immunotherapy that shut down my adrenal glands, on hydrocortisone for life. Hope all goes well for you Jim.

Just Dang!! I was about to make light about the crater I have on my right temple until I saw your post forge. I sure hope and pray that all this is behind you and you go cancer free with years and years ahead!

Same goes for all our members dealing with this. Skin cancer is no laughing business.

Thank you, Sir ,,,,,, it’s a battle. I couldn’t see what that surgeon was doing but I did hear several marbles hit the floor. 🤣

Good luck Jim. A neighbor that is 6 months under me, last week went to the ER with yellow eyes. He has cancer in the tale of the pancreases. They do surgery the 15th. He is a good guy as the POS s around here seem to live forever.

Good luck to you also forgemonkey.
