That's not what Fla. needs, 2 hits in a row! Hope all of our members in the path stay safe.

I am OVER hurricanes, two in less than two months. It's not that I'm afraid of them, it's that damn cleanup after the fact, at 75 and with a bad back I am having a difficult time keeping up.

My heart goes out to those unfortunate people that lost everything because of flooding because they are about to get a replay. We have been blessed as we incurred no damage either by wind or water so far. just a ton (literally) of debris on every square inch of the property

Well, I hope that this is the last one for this year, Hurricane season ends officially November 31st.

I was in Gulfport MS. just after hurricane Camille came through. That gave me plenty of respect for hurricanes.

It’s really windy and pouring rain but we still have power for now.

I drove through Gulfport A YEAR after Camille hit. That gave me plenty of respect for hurricanes. I saw cars lodged in oak trees, 15 feet off the ground.

Raking leaves will be quick this winter. Between the 2 storms I have about 20% remaining.

It started raining yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. Didn't rain all that much but was steady. 3:15 AM (Friday) we were having about a 45 minute downfall that was the proverbiel goose drownder!!

Toad strangler here, sort of passing on by at the moment.

Just 1.3 inches so far, but about 20 miles from here it had already hit 5 inches at noon.

Storm hit CT yesterday afternoon, it's going to stay till tomorrow afternoon.

Over 1" rain in first 1-1/2 hours

Right now sounds like a cow peeing on a flat rock !
