Picatinny is too hard to spell and pronounce for a gun part We have trigger, bolt, barrel, stock, clip, slide screw and many other easy words.

This Picatinny thing needs to go. I propose we just call it a pic rail mount and be done with it.

  Well, most of the gun world is switching to M-Lok so that should help.
