I too got notice from SSI of a pay increase. My monthly payment will increase by $5.00 and retro back the 7 months I have been retired.
Think I'll save up for an oil change in the truck, it is 2 years past due.

I was notified my SSI was increased. Due to the 'DemPanic', I took a 75% pay cut for 2.5 years. At my 'pre-panic' rate, I was going to retire in 2 more years but now it's going to be 5 years. By that time(?) my SS check will just about cover my MediCare bill. Now that's something to look forward to by golly.
