Its my time to SHINE.....yay cold weather!
I'm so sorry to all of you that have to deal with impassable roads, power outages and I do worry for all of the poor animals that suffer in the extreme cold....... BUT......
I swear, I love this mess. I am finally comfortable and even, dare I say, "chilly" at times...which is just nuts to me because I'm totally HOT all of the freaking time. Its ridiculous.
My team has made me bump the heat up a bit so nobody looses any apendages, fair enough....but I let this place get down to 59 degrees before I feel like we need to adjust anything while I'm alone here.
Its amazing how new my winter clothes are compared to all the Tshirts and shorts I have.....because its never cold enough to wear any of it. Alabama hasn't had a winter in several years that I can remember. It'll have a few days of craziness....but its right back to 70 degrees that same week.
Here we are.....everyone around me freezing.....and I'm happy as a clam.

As I get older, I have become less of a fan of cold weather but I prefer it over hot sticky weather by a large margin. I can always put on more clothes as it gets colder, but you can only take off so many during hot weather before you get arrested!😀 Bob

I'm like you always hot. I'm one of the few here that is enjoying this cool down I think by midweek we are expected to be up in the 80's again

Looking at your pictures I'm sure I'd be in pure heaven for just a bit up there.....and then probably totally over it in no time.
Its funny how people react to my house when they come in here. It will be cold outside....but COLDER inside. It almost insults some people. They drive up and "brave the cold" from the car to the house, yank off their coats just to grab them up and put them back on when they realize how its cooler in my house than outside!
