Interesting you should mention that, Joe. I was a little miffed earlier when I tried to use a single word to describe the color that is the absence of color. That really, really dark color. The same color you'd see if you were inside a cow on a dark night. Why does that word earn an * from the auto-censor?

The list of words was over 4,000 two years ago. That list is completely controlled by HQ. I can not even view the list yet alone make changes anymore.

Just wondering.......is there a message sent to the offending person when their post is deleted for this? That way they know that they meased up, so they wont repeat.

Me? I usually just delete and leave it at that. If it's a repeat offender then yes they receive notice, in the form of an official warning. Ignored warnings lead to being banned.
We have been over this so many times in the past. The posting guidelines are outlined and posted. A previous Admin went as far as doing a thread breaking down each guideline and what it means, that is also posted.
If you type something that is bumped out by the auto censor (your word appears as *), or you have to use creative spelling to get past the auto censor or use all asterisks then you should not be posting it. Any one of these 3 things, is your message / warning.
