According to that study (Really- no joke) the recommendation was to avoid offending the Drill Instructors by "misgendering them".

Gender confusion politics in the US military is simply a small part of the larger plan to mold a fighting force that eliminates all individual discernment from the minds of the foot soldier.
While the Oath of Enlistment currently references the UCMJ, the elimination of discernment will open the door to a force that no longer has the ability to consider the legality of orders.
It may weaken our ability to fight a foreign foe, but will strengthen the ability to suppress Americans who would resist tyranny at home.

As a civilian I work at a Military Entrance Station. We have had both women and men as Commanders.
I would not want to see what would happen if I did not say Sir or Ma’am when addressing the Commander. Especially if the Command Master Sargent of the Station is in the area.

The military has for years been overwhelmingly God fearing, patriotic, and conservative and DEMOCRATS since Clinton have been doing everything possible to change that.

While true, they screwed the pooch on this one because their politics is keeping the best and brightest [and let's face it, your typical star athlete is going to look at the current military and say "I'm having nothing to do with that"] out in the civilian arena... which here in America is well armed. This is not going to go well for them in the near or long term.

While I understand your argument @Mr. Perfect, the "Star Athlete," is still going to be attracted to and try out for the "Elite," unit's. (SEALS, MARSOC Marines, Rangers, 82nd/101st etc.) Thank God.
These unit's are not your typical Military unit's, nor do they follow dogma/political discourse. These are Independent thinking individuals trained to take individual action.
As they should/need to be.
