Spent a night hovering the toilet back around the age of 17 after a bit of an overdose of peppermint schnapps. To this day I don't even like candy canes!

6 oz very hot spiced cider
2oz brandy
Serve in a mug with a cinnamon stick stir.
As for boozeless hot chocolate, I like the Abuelita (sp?) Mexican style, with a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper added.
