ya see, it starts out at .5 inch, but with that kinda wind it drifts into the full 5 inches maybe more.

Yep. Was in Minnesota back a few years ago when they shut down I-35. No snow in some spots and 15 foot drifts on the interstate. DOT couldn't keep up.

BOMB!!! The media goes out of their way to scare everybody. If you live where it gets cold, guess what?? It will get cold and there will be snow storms. Live on the east coast? You stay here long enough you will experience a hurricane. Live in west Texas?? It will probably get hot again next summer. It's just weather, just like it has always been. A couple of years ago we were flooded, and I couldn't leave my neighborhood for eight days with no power. No problem. Just store some food and water and the other stuff and it will be fine. Our stupid democrap governor has declared a weather emergency here cause it gonna be cold up in the N.C. mountains. There is no telling what he is really doing and how much money is going to go where. When I lived in Reno it would get cold and snow in the winter. They would close Donner Pass up above the house. No problem, it's winter.

I don't remember ever going down there Joe. I was mostly in the Reno, Carson City, North Tahoe are. Of course, this was in the early 1980's before I transferred to Atlantic City so I may just not remember. I really enjoyed living in Reno. Lots of nice country and interesting history.

Yeah, I agree @Butchdog2, pretty mild today. 42° @ 8pm. (Headed to 3-5°) [Just now updated to -3°] Very strange. Gonna (Obviously) have to drop about 40+°.

Forcasting for -3 to -5° tomorrow night. (May go lower.)
