Daisy Likes the Wood Stove
-
Beagle or beagle mix? Just spent a long weekend sitting for my daughter's 15 yo 3/4 beagle mix with incontinence - from one of my registered dogs who was an escape artist many years ago. Beagles get a bad rep of being stubborn and hard to train, but it's just that they are intelligent enough to get their own way - and they never fully grow up. They are loud though! Nobody arrives unannounced.

Great pic. Good looking dog. My beagles like to lay by the fire too.

Good looking dog, Allen. My Bullmastiffs, years ago, loved to lay by the fire. Still miss those guys. We are going to have a high of 0 here in Scenic Lizton Friday.

I had a Boston Terrier years ago that used to crawl under the woodstove and lay there looking out. I've got some old school photo's around here somewhere.
Miss U Bess.
*Absolutely Awesome Frisbee dog.

A picture of contentment.

Full blooded Beale. When we got her she was registered, and named Lady Chloe du Archambeau.
We got her out of that French aristocracy stuff and changed her name to Daisy. She runs around the woods all day, on my 48 acres, howling like a demented werewolf.

I thought you had a fire place?

Yes I do. My house has a living room, and a den. We usually hang out where the wood stove is.

if you could just teach her to put the logs in the stove she fetches, you wouldn't have to get out of the recliner.....

Kimber next to the stove and Sadie

A German Shepard named Kimber. The gal who works the desk at the nearby auto mechanic shop has a German Shepard named Kimber, and she jeeps her in the shop all day. Weird.

Our GS/ mix is also named Kimber.

I love beagles. They start out cute and grow into one of the best looking and intelligent dogs. I believe that as adults they don't lose their puppy look.

Oh, we don't allow swinging any cats here,,, There are several Martha cats here as well. I have one.

Here is Max, my tree rescue. I believe he is a tad spoiled.

Joe.......all things considered......I may be a bit off topic.
Here's one of my Kimbers......a Custom Match 22LR. My other pics are on the ol' Windows 98 machine.
Guess I need to re-scan the old 35mm pictures.
