Granddaughter is home for semester break and we were talking shooting and rifles. She has a full ROTC scholarship and is running every day, preparing for the marathon this spring(26.2 miles).

We were looking at my AR and she informed me she knows all the parts of the M4, M240 and the M249. I just nodded my head and mumbled un-huh as she rattled off all the parts from unlabeled schematics. Like I would know any of the parts beyond the barrel and trigger. 🤣
