    Jeff,

I don’t deal with lawyers much, but had to when I was in a really bad accident a few years ago. I’d recommend Brill & Rinaldi. They treated me very well.

They have a couple of offices, but David Brill works out of Weston. Not sure if they do wills, but if not, I’m sure could direct you to a colleague.

    Frogdog,

Does David Brill know you by that name or who should I say recommended me?

You need to find an attorney that specialises in wills & trusts.

My daddy used to always say; "Where there is a will, there is a way!"

When he died, he had no will but did leave us all with the trust of knowing everything went to the wicked step mother. 😲

Being an optimist (glass is half FULL), having nothing to fight over with my siblings, we are all still a very close family! 🙂

If you ever think you really know someone, share an inheritance with them.

So true chme. This is the second time. It has to do with my wife & her controlling sister. First it was the mom and recently an aunt. We never did get a copy of the will of the mom. Sister kept most everything except the house where the 3 kids split it. BIL bought the 2 girls out. Now we have the same problem concerning the aunt and the estate is in 6 figures.

I made a mistake by asking about lawyers in Ft. Lauderdale. I did that because I visit that area often. I see now that I should work with a lawyer in the county where the aunt lived. She was from Bradenton just north of Sarasota.

Nothing is easy for me anymore!
