Wrapped up a bolt gun this morning in my usual heavy brown paper, grabbed a new U Line rifle box and packed the gun nice and tight just the way I like it. Weighed it, made a label and put it by the office door to wrap another. When I reached for my tape gun there was the bolt for that rifle on the table. At least I caught it before UPS had it.

Or you find the envelope with the buyers contact info laying on the table....

    Hey Ricci.......

At least you make the good decision to remove the bolt before shipping.

How many people have left the bolt in.........and ended up with a stock that was snapped in half at the wrist???

    Good move! 😉

Funny how people think that the bolt comes with the gun! They all should know the bolt is extra! 🤣

I would have shipped the bolt separately. I know it adds to the shipping cost, but if some shipper looks to steal the rifle they might leave it as there's no bolt.

I leave the bolts out so I can get more rifles in a safe. Then I put the bolts (with tags) in a different safe.

I was shooting my 32-20 and couldn't hit a thing. after the third shot I checked the ammo - 25-20!!! Both rifles are identical and I had grabbed the wrong one. Oh, wanna know what they are? Savage 23-B and 23-C.
