What is this part a Flash Suppresser? or Barrel Muzzle?

There are some numbers and markings in one line on it but not 100% positive what they all are.

They look like D 58 960-2270.

Also looks like an arrow symbol above the 96 numbers.

The D looked like it had a line inside like over an E?

It is 5 1/2" long.
