Iphone to Android picture sending via text
I can send pics with no problem to Iphones from my Iphone. I can recieve pics from both Iphones and android phones no problem. I can not seem to send any pics over wifi to an android but the same pic will go to a iphone.
Anyone know why this is happening?

Could be because you are just a dumb pilot and don’t know what you’re doing!

And people say "Iphones just work" The HECK they do! LOL. I've never had a problem sending a picture to any phone type from my Android phone.

With my android phone, I use 2 different ways for sending pics.
If I want to send them to my laptop, I use facebook messenger (phone ap). I message the pics to myself in facebook messenger. FB reduces the size of the pic automatically.
If I want to send pics to another person, I've found turning off Wifi (and using Data) makes them send faster. Otherwise, hit edit on the picture, and slightly reduce the size of it. This will help it send faster. When I say reduce the size, I mean crop the pic and hit save, then send the modified pic as a text.
For sending video to a friend - I've found Facebook messenger is really the only way to go.

Whatsapp is great for sending pics and videos no matter the type of phone. Also supposed to be more secure than Messenger.

I have very poor cell signal at my home and use WIFI for phone use. I have not had faceplant for over a decade and never use it for anything. I will head out and try when I have cell signal and see if that works.

Only downside of whatsapp is that the recipient needs to have the app as well.

My iPhone sends photos to anything, no problem. Works the same way everytime.

I get so frustrated with Iphones.....their messages sometimes do NOT come through to my android phone. Its not just photos.
I have an Ipad that will have messages on it that people text over to me with their Iphones. It will be several days before I see it.
WHY apple decided to have their own message software that doesn't work well with others I'll never know. I will never have an Iphone for sure.

I'm not sure what kind of phones they have... But I have 3 people I have trouble sending pictures to. I have a Android. And when there pictures come in I have to download them.
