1911 10mm Mags
I picked up my new Taylor & Company 1911 in 10mm at PSA today.Nice looking gun but,it came with two 45ACP mags and a note that they would work in 10mm. I have put 1 mag through it and the last round about half chambered. I realize this is a new gun and probably needs a break in.I sent a text to Armscor and whined about the mags to see what will happen.Any thought on using 45ACP mags in a 10mm?

They may work, but they are not the correct mag. I would not stake my personal safety on them.

...Ive got an "as new" Colt DE 10mm that Ive had for years, never any problem with feeding, but then I use only the 10mm Colt mags, same with all my Colt 45acp's, only Colt mags...I know CM's are good mags as well as a few others, but Ive always figured using the mag brand of the gun I put it in was best...

Buy some 10mm mags. I suggest Wilson, or Chip Mccormic or Metal Form or Mecgar. All are good quality. Stay away from Pro Mag.

Don't.

I just bought a Kimber 10mm in Stainless Steel in 1911 and when I bought a extra mag they tried to sell me a .45 mag. I pulled it out of the plastic and showed them it did not fit. They found a 10mm mag so all ended well.
