Nothing, it would be their personal gun.

I have bought a gun or two from unlicensed individuals, that I did not enter into my book, because I intended to keep the guns or present them to a family member. Later on, if I choose to sell it, I enter it in my book and treat it as any other gun in my inventory.

If I buy it from another FFL, I enter it in my book, and if it's one I want to keep, I show it transferred to "personal collection."

I don't sell any "personal collection" guns. If I need to, or want to, sell one, it goes back on the book.

I believe I addressed that. A distributor is a FFL, just as a retail dealer is.

"If I buy it from another FFL, I enter it in my book, and if it's one I want to keep, I show it transferred to 'personal collection.'"
