Fess up Culinary Snobs. Who owns some?
I just ordered a 3.5 qt Braiser w/lid for $238, (on sale, down from $368ish.)
Yes, for one (1) pot. 😮 I fully blame Susie for this purchase. She clued me in to them, then I saw a "Sale," on QVC a couple days later. I LOVE to cook, so I figure I would add this to my new set of Cookware. (My Christmas gift to me.) Cry once, then have something of quality, to last a lifetime.
Any one else familiar/own some?

We've got a few pieces here. There are a few copies out there that seem to be just as nice as the Le Creuset. We hardly ever cook, so its all for show at this point. My oldest daughter is an amazing cook. The rest of us are lucky to be alive at this point.
The only thing I've found is if there is ever any chip in the coating the entire thing can discolor.....we have a large dutch oven that has a chip at the top and it has a ring around the entire thing, the upper half is a brighter color than the bottom half. I keep thinking I'm going to send it in....but things never work out for me on warranty issues so I'm sure it would not be replaced and it would cost me shipping back and forth in the end.

@Locust Fork some of my pieces have an ombre effect color. I bought them that way. Just pretend you did as well. 😆

I think I own a frying pan and a pot and maybe a lid for the pot, but I haven't cooked a meal at home in 15 or 20 years. At my office I do have a very nice microwave and my buddy just gifted me a really sweet air fryer that I have used to cook some chicken breasts. Neither of these require pots or pans.

Had an old cast iron frying pan that was looking kinda shabby. I put it in the wood stove for a couple of hours and it came out looking like new. Now reseasoning and it will be good to go. Why dont you try that with your high end stuff?
