They have "Fair Trade Certified (TM) - Midnight Blend" - Keurig K-Cups - 12 per box for $3.99. Not quite as good as the "Dunkin' Midnight" that Ricci Wright posted about some time back - but considerably ahead of several others according to my taste-buds --- your mileage may vary.

I was there last summer and they had frozen ducks at a good deal, got one, but haven't been back since. I don't mind the quarter for the shopping cart, if I could only find some plastic chips the same size. But they could spring for some cheap plastic bags like at wally world, can never remember to bring my own bag.

They sell some kind of rustic Italian bread that's better than any other around here. Great big round loaf.

their is one store in both towns close to us or about about 12 miles to either one
my wife does stop by when grocery shopping to check out any deals and I stop by on occasion . some good deals some about the same as wally world
we don't have a k cup coffee maker but thanks any way

Pick up an empty box off the shelf when shopping. I shop there a lot. No complaints.

I went to Aldis last October, bought all the pumpkins for $ 20 ,there was at least 20,
going price anywhere else $5-$10 each

Never been to their store before. I buy the box of 72 Dunkin K cups at Bj's wholesale club. I don't care about the price, I just buy what I like and drink. To me, I'm not saving money if I don't like it, or end up tossing it in the trash.

Thats good but lots of small pieces and some voids. I think they went from a, not cheap, $3.79 to $4.99. I switched to sourdough, the rectangle one. Nice pieces, not whimpy like most breads now

No - Aldi's closed a couple of stores in the Chicago area a while back - I would close stores there too if they were problematic.
The just opened a new store in Blairsville, Georgia where I have relatives.

just built a new one half mile or so down the road, I have been in twice both times they only had one register open and at least a half dozen folks in, I asked if they were gonna open another register and the lady said they didn't have anyone else, left my buggy there and walked out.......

I did Aldi's just once about 7 or 8 years ago. They wouldn't accept a credit card, so I just bought a jar of sauerkraut that was made in Germany. It was the worst kraut I ever attempted to eat. Haven't been back since.

They accept cards, and many of their German foods are delicious. Thats why they have options in grocery stores. I go their first, get what I like and finish up across the street at a Pic ans Save for other things.

Stores are very well designed to minimize cost of operating. That quarter for a cart means not having to pay a cart wrangler to chase them down. One of the few stores that have cashier SEATED. So not wearing out cashier for no reason. Breads ARE good, so is produce. Store brands pretty good, seasonal items can be real good. Got a two person porch swing w/ sunshade for $31 a few years ago- sturdy, held up well. If you can't remember reusable bags, just toss a bag of Walmart plastic bags in the trunk, re-use them.

That's probably how they're financing those new stores, all those quarters coming from irate customers. The officials will build it up and raid the kettle and then dump it due to bankruptcy.

Seldom have to use a quarter here, most people returning them pass it forward. Ive already seen quarters laying on the top of the wall where they park the carts.

Aldi is the best, clean stores and bathrooms, awesome quality products at low prices. I love the stores and the products they offer. They are the same products made by the biggie name brands with a different label. The quarter for the cart lets you get good clean carts and your quarter back, or pass it on to the next guy heading in.
You nay-sayers are WRONG, you just never gave them a chance and have money to burn on food.
If you are not happy with the product the guarantee is your money back and a replacement item, who can ask for more?

Aldi's want cash here, yet I have not heard of one being robbed. Maybe 8-10 years ago I was in a Des Moines Aldi's and asked a pretty clerk if she ever worried about it. She said no, she carried a 9mm her husband gave her and she regularly out shot him, and he was a DM policeman. I asked if it was store policy, and she said no, it was HER policy. It made me happy talking to her.
