That hard living finally caught up with him.

I await the day with joyful anticipation for the same news about Neil Young.

It is amazing that the guy lived this long. He has had lifestyle-related afflictions for many years.

He had a liver transplant in 1994, jumped ahead in the transplant line at the time and alot of people were pissed.

Must have had a pretty rugged body to get away with all the crap that he did and still live that long.

I remember a little but never follow or listed to much of his music but sounds like he cheated the reaper a few times

Can't stand Neil. Crosby Stills and Nash was way better without him.

Take it with a grain of salt Frank @William81 I liked his, Crosby's early work also, but the disagree came from somebody that really didn't care for Neil Young based upon their post, I have no animosity toward any of the old folk/rock artists of their day, but politics can change peoples hearing after the fact imho...

I find it somewhat humorous.....notice the little rolled eyes next to my comment....

I thought the guy was a total buttface as he got older, but many of the artists I have enjoyed over the years were screwed up in some fashion....there are some I quit listening to altogether others I write off as just being flawed in some fashion...

Just like most of us in one way or another😬....

You can like the music without caring about the artist. Being a great musician doesn't mean their political or moral opinions are valid.

My favorite CSN&Y tune was 'Woodstock'. And I have never had hair that touched my shirt collar, even in the late '60s.
