Alec Baldwin To Be Charged
-
Kinda like creepy Joe and all of his actions, I'll believe it when I see it.

It is just a dog and pony show to get it over with my guess money will change hands lots of it.
Probation and back to normal

He might squirm out of criminal responsibility ("If the condescending smirk fits, you must acquit") but either way, his vulnerability in civil court is now huge.

I thought Baldwin bought his way out of any civil liability by giving the widower a piece of the movie "Rust" and making him one of the Executive producers
(Matthew Hutchins, widower of Halyna Hutchins, described her death as a “terrible accident” in a statement at the time of the settlement. Production on “Rust” was to resume this month with Matthew Hutchins joining as an executive producer on the film as part of the agreement.)
The armorer, Hannah Gutierrez Reed has also been charged with Involuntary Manslaughter

Yup, just a token to end the "investigation." Everyone knows that no Democrat ever gets found guilty of any crime.

Baldwin has told interviewers that he did not pull the trigger, and that the gun went off when he let go of the hammer. An FBI forensic analysis determined that the gun was functioning normally.
The stupid fool tried to claim "it was the guns fault". But does anyone ever believe that old lie?

There's good lawyers that know the law real good and there's lawyers that know the Judge real good........always hire the latter.

GREAT!

...Good!! He may not serve a day in prison...but his butt will be puckered until he walks out of the court room for the last time, because he wont be SURE of the final outcome until the last day ...charges filed on him come with up to 6 1/2 years in prison, be nice for him to live the rest of his miserable life with a conviction on his woosey butt...

There are laws for the Hollyweird people, and then there are laws for us common folk. He will probably be in a new movie soon, and thrown a parade. Too bad he is not with Todd Christley, and getting his colonoscopy, from a Dr. named Bubba!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Civil suit has already been settled.

Baldwin settled a no doubt "massive" civil suit for an undisclosed amount.

She died at his hand. He'll have to live with it.

Live rounds on a set🤔

First I’ll say Baldwin is a jerk, and was definitely lying when he said he didn’t pull the trigger. He did, he had to have pulled it. I can believe he didn’t know it had a live round in it. But what baffles me is, where did the live round come from? We have all seen blanks, they don’t look like live rounds. The only one I ever seen that does look like one was a 6.5 mm Swedish Mauser blank round, but bullet was painted red and made from wood, you had to put a shredder on the end of the barrel to shred the bullet.
I just think that who ever put the live round in the gun and didn’t know the difference, or just assumed it was a blank is equally responsible.

these actors spend lots of time researching the person they are "playing" in the show/movie. I think the least they could do is spend 15 minutes researching the gun they will be using to find out how to tell if it is loaded or not, If they can't then I feel they are also to blame.....

Read that today at lunch.
Great!! Very good news. 😁👍

If it wasn't that, it must have been the gun manufacturers fault...

The lawyer for the female armorer was on tv yesterday, he said that Hannah reached into an ammo box labelled "BLANK ROUNDS" and she used those cartridges. And he said that someone had slipped a live round into that box, and she loaded the gun with it.
He is so ignorant of firearms, he is saying that a supposed expert, an "armorer" is holding live cartridges in her hand, along with some blanks, and she can't tell the difference. If this is Hanna's best defense, she is in big legal trouble.
As Tucker Carlson said last night, "Never hire an armorer with green hair."

Watched an interview this morning where they said the handgun he used had a transfer bar. Zero chance of it firing without his finger on and pulling the trigger. He just assumed his alligator tears would be enough to clear him, but it's high time people like him were held to the same standard the rest of us are. Damn, do I hate Hollywood.

I have that same pistol. A Pietta .45
A well made replica and it won't fire without pulling the trigger.

Unfortunately, the FBI tried firing the gun repeatedly without pulling the trigger, it would Not. (Until it broke.) Then it would fire without pulling the trigger. His Defense team, is gonna be all over that.
I hope the Jerk gets the "Weapons Enhancement," bump to the charge and spends 5 years in Jail. (Not the normal 18mo. Negligent Homicide sentence) Not gonna happen, but I can hope/wish.
I hope he sweats bullets, until the verdict comes back. He deserves it. Entitled (getting stuck by a pointy object.) Use your imagination. 🤔

Hopefully he will be made an example of like Martha Stewart was years ago.

I predict he will plead no contest with a suspended sentence in place which will be less than a slap on the writ. The dude is an actor, he will say the right things and it will all go away. The payouts to the families have already been made via civil court. As far as I know Baldwin does not have any other serious crimes in his past so it is unlikely he will really received any sentencing that hurts him..... JMHO and 30 plus years working in court system...
Unless, since it is California and guns are evil, they might make an example of him, but I doubt it

Ya know, everyone makes mistakes and I would have had some respect for Baldwin if he had been a man and admitted he pulled the trigger. But, instead he started blaming others and denied pulling the trigger then he went so far as to blame the gun ( what a spineless loser) . Right then I thought this lowlife does not deserve anyone's respect.
William, I believe your prediction will hold true and that he will walk but I hope he gets a healthy dose of Karma for being such a coward.

Agreed.....It is a lot easier to cut someone a little slack if they stand up and say they made a mistake....At any sentencing hearing, he will be contrite and as I said he is an actor....
It will be an interesting process before it is over.....

A comment from a Hollywood PR firm:
Schiffer called Baldwin's claim that he never pulled the trigger a "big lie," adding that it "was not only horrifyingly dumb but defies gun physics."
"His biggest problem is he continues to ... [tell] the public ... that guns are going to magically fire themselves,

He'll walk away a free man but then he'll turn around and write a book on the happenings of the incident, make the New York Times 10 Best Book list making many more millions. 😡
