Learned something, thanks for the info. And Aussies can't even have firearms. 😐️

Just gotta wonder if Biden's war on guns (esp .50BMG) has made Barrett nervous about staying in the USA.

That's what I thought too. Interesting.

    Wow. Never saw that coming.

My 1st thought was that Aussies can not own firearms also. 🤔

some times I just think the chance to sell out and just enjoy life with no ties to the market or headaches would be too easy to take

as stated with current push on our gun rights even with the small wins we seem to get I do fear the One world anti gunners will win out at some point in the future

    at least my thoughts

my youngest son has a Barrett 50 its a hoot to shoot and a bit heavy to shoulder ( for a old fellow ) and the sticker price is a bit shocking .

They can own firearms BUT they are severely restricted as to WHO can have one and what type!

I highly doubt that ANY of Barrett's firearms are legal in Australia.

Sad that Australia is a safer place for the company than the USA!

My first thought as well, but they do still arm their military... which recently used arms to round up citizens. 😐️

Because they "escaped" the COVID camps, you can't make that up.

NOIA is an Aussie “privately owned” largely government operated defense organization.

It is a very unique dynamic over there, not just defense but across the board manufacturing.

The Aussies have very old school protectionist laws, for example you can’t buy a book in Australia if it isn’t physically printed in country.

I do not like change in general.

I do not like this change in particular.
