Bostonians
Bostonians, what in tarnation is that thing? And why did they think it would honor MLK??
Note: Communist goal #23 "Control art critics and directors of art museums. " Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.""

Not that I am aware of. Are you aware of that monstrosity rolled out in Boston?

I thought you were talking about shoes.
With as odd as that sculpture is, it could be depicting shoes.

That is nothing short of ghastly. I'm sure the good Dr. is spinning in his grave, and not just about the sculpture!

A bust or full body statue would be in honor of someone. Modern art of the times, not so much. JMO

If you squint just so it does sort of have a Joy Behar appearance.

I didn't get what it was supposed to be before I saw this pic. Only cost ten million..

a quick glance it looks like some one showing off the huge dog log, their Shepard just left in the yard
and wow only 10 million how many of the so called poor minorities would that have housed and fed (or drugs and needles could have been passed out )
and just put a simple metal plack noting his life , ,oh wait its not about feeding or helping the poor , the government suppose to care for them
I will agree the photo helps explain the what the why not so much

If a doctor were to show me and ink blot resembling that shape in his office, the first thing that comes to my mine is looting.

Your link doesn't work because some word in it was filtered out by the automated software. I would encourage you to find the link and use tinyurl.com to create a better, shorter one that won't contain the word.

It doesn't take much imagination to figure what the word is.

The massive bronze piece, titled “The Embrace,” features two sets of arms holding each other, an artistic interpretation of the classic photo of Coretta and hubby Martin Luther King Jr. hugging after he won the Nobel Peace Price in 1964.
“The mainstream media … was reporting on it like it was all beautiful, ’cause they were told they had to say that,” Seneca Scott, Coretta’s cousin, told The Post by phone Sunday, referring to the new artwork on the Boston Common.
“But then when it came out, a little boy pointed out — ‘That’s a penis!’ and everyone was like, ‘Yo, that’s a big old dong, man,’” said the 43-year-old Oakland, Calif. resident.
copied and pasted. from the article I am sure the word dong got it filtered in the head line

I don’t know how do do what you are describing. I will just state they were comparing the statute to a male appendage.

I am betting that young lady would have never hugged him

This is what 'Butchdog2' is referring to - at least this is what I think it is:
Black sculptor's MLK statue represents 'White America' butchering his legacy: WaPo columnist
Washington Post columnist Karen Attiah claimed that the ridiculed Martin Luther King Jr. statue represents “White America” butchering his legacy despite the artist being Black.Best Regards - AQH
