Anyone else noticed the high prices of used and new gunstock checkering tools
Price of used and new gunstock checkering tools priced out of sight
(priced higher than retail price lists of new checkering tools and bidders fighting over getting them)

I had an elderly gentleman several years ago who wanted me to have his large supply of checkering tools (years & years worth) since he had no one to leave them to, I politely declined telling him it was too tedious work for me. I didn't know the value of them nor did I care but I did sincerely appreciate his offer and I have no regrets but I am the proud owner of several of his stocks.....he did beautiful work.

NO, I only asked if anyone noticed the high prices of checking tools on this forum.
I got into the tedious work of of using magnafiers and checking my own stocks just before the Kung flug/ Biden/Obama pandamic and got my checkering tools BEFORE they went out of sight. I noticed that Dem-Bart still has cutter heads priced fair but do not know if they are filling orders. I prefer the Dem-Bart checking tool cutters more so than the Gunline brand.
