I will admit to liking cooking shows.

Also, Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, etc.

I like to cook and eat well. (And do.)

I am currently reading Anthony Bourdain's book "Kitchen Confidential", and it is a very good read. He was a good writer. Too bad he decided to end his life.

I remember the Dan Akroyd/Julia Child skit. (Hysterical.)

Kinda like the Eddie Murphy/Mr Rogers skit. (Equally hysterical.)

No cast could be better than the Original SNL cast. They were (by far) the best.

    Anyone remember ("Svetty Balls?") 🤔😉😂🤣

My favorite is America's Test Kitchen* followed by Steven Raichlen the BBQ guy.

*The original version hosted by Christopher Kimball, who was forced out.

Oh ya! Some of those old SNL skits were funny enough to remember all these years later! Dan Akroyd also did the one called the "Bass-O-Matic", where he drops a bass in a blender set to puree. Served it all up in tall glasses and gave to other SNL members who all commented; "Great bass" 😂

Here is a video of the Japanese version of Iron Chef. I really get a charge out of watching! 😁

If you get a chance, check out Nigella. She has a way of capturing your attention. And imagination.

I have to agree with KenK/84Bravo, I like to cook and eat well. In 1975 I had just got a divorce from my wife (no kids involved) she was an excellent cook, fantastic would be a better word. I still remember sitting on the couch in the house a buddy of mine rented eating a McDonald’s burger thinking to my self, I can finish the rest of my life eating like this, or learn to cook. Over the years I have come so accustomed to my cooking that I have spoiled my self, and my wife. Secret to good cooking, don’t be afraid to experiment and remember there are more spices than salt and pepper.
