About 3300 produced 1949 - 1950, so fairly rare and sounds like it would be a cool one to own. It was a 22 developed from the 380. Hopefully Mr. Stimson will have a little more info. Bob

The Model G-D was available in 6 variations.

9020 4.50" barrel Plain checkered walnut grips PR-10

9021 6.75" barrel Plain checkered walnut grips PR-11

9022 Combo with both barrels Plain checkered walnut grips PR-9

9023 4.50" barrel Thumbrest checkered walnut grips PR-7

9024 6.75" barrel Thumbrest checkered walnut grips PR-9

9025 Combo with both barrels Thumbrest checkered walnut grips PR-7

As to rarity, I have devised the following rarity table with data for High Standard guns.

    https://histandard.info/PDF2015/Rarity_rating_%208-10-2015.pdf

Note that taken as a whole this production rarity of 3300 would be PR-13 but taken as the individual variations there are some that might rightly be called rare.

It would also be noteworthy that the factory records can tell if a gun had the original style grips and barrel length or if it was upgraded after leaving the factory by an owner.

326,811 shipped as a catalog number 9025 on 2/7/1950 to account number 1479 on invoice number 317.

Catalog number 9025 was the two barrel set with the thumbrest grips.

The barrel should be numbered to the frame on the bottom of the barrel mounting block. You must remove the barrel from the frame to see this.
