Quite a day of BBQ - so fun!
As a Christmas present my wife and the wives of 2 close friends gifted the 3 of us, a day of cooking from a world champion competitive BBQ griller from our area.
We got our Big green eggs together and grilled ribs, steaks, chickens and octopus!
Great day together with good friends and family and couldn’t beat the food.

I have to admit, octopus wouldn't be the first, or even in the top 40 things I'd BBQ. Not because I wouldn't try it, it just wouldn't even cross my simple mind, how was it? Looks like a great way to spend a day.

I’ve eaten octopus pickled and also in ceviche, how is it grilled?
I would sure enough give ol pulpo grilled a try.

As far as the Octopus, one of the my buddies is Greek. He has a special volcano rock from Greece he beats the octopus with to tenderize it, then the olive oil and herbs that went on were all straight from Greece. It was So good!
