Keeping gun safe lights in place
I have the tube strip lights in my safe but the small velcro patches don't seem to hold very long. I suppose I could attach more patches but want to see if anybody has come up with an alternative solution.

I use LED strip lights and double back tape. The light strip is so light weight the double back tape holds great. I have them on the front (inside face) and back of each of my safes.

Depending on the fabric, you could put some shape into some paper clips to form little hooks that you can slip into the fabric. That is how I hang pictures and such in my cubicle at work.
My gun safe has velcro friendly fabric, and when I try to move my pistol pouches, I swear it's going to take the material with them.

I also have LED strip lights on the inside edge of my safe. They have been there for about 20 years and haven't fallen off yet. If you do this, clean off the metal surface with alcohol before you apply the lights.

I guess it was a poor assumption on my part that the safe was lined like mine. Now I understand the dilemma better. Seems with all the technology we have, something would hold up better, I've had good luck with 3M products.

If we had access to the glue they put on those round sensor pads they put on you for an EKG, you would be all set (if you've ever had that done, you know what I mean).

My Liberty safe does have the fabric. The strip light stays in place better in corners so the top and left side generally stay in place. The right side, because of the hinge, prevents the light strip from the corner location and must be placed directly in front of the shelves on the sidewall. Thinking of picking up the pins that slide into office cubicle fabric walls. A two-pointed pin with a hook to hang items.

Yep, I had a slight unusual feeling on my back when in the shower. Could not reach to feel what it was so I looked in mirror and it was one of them round sensor patches that had been on about 3 months. It almost took some skin when it got peeled off and left a big red spot.
Get some of them sensor patches and they will hold your lights.

If it's the fuzzy material like mine, (I also have Liberty). The hook side of the Velcro sticks like super glue, and if that's the case you just need a method of attaching to the light strip. Bread ties or zip ties maybe?

I have bald spots on my chest and back that prove you are absolutely correct.

The plastic conduit clips look like the way to go. I need to investigate to see what drywall/fireboard is in my safe.
