Old military weapons to buy???

I really enjoy shooting my M1 Garands and my two Jap 7.7's. Looking for other old military weapons to buy, that has readily available ammo. What say you??? I got a 303 British coming my way, but looking for something else to shoot. I also have two M1 Carbines, but had to give them to my father in Texas, as they are illegal now in NJ

    Those boxes boxes we just picked up at a gunsmith house. They were put away in the early 80's. Thats why so much dirt. But i can not complain as my whole shop an garage looks like that. If i had the time an energy to finish all the arms that i have sitting ready for touch up. I would need more than the 12 or 14 tables we use now at the show.

    It reminds me of an old gunsmith friend, who had his shop in his basement. If you asked about a specific part, it was always something like "yeah, third row, second shelf on the right, third drawer, about halfway back in the drawer". Asked about Garand op rods one day, and it went like that. Sure enough, there was a drawer full of those, and op rods for M14s. Hindsight says I should have bought every one he had (and there were dozens) as he wanted $25 each.

    I've 3 Mausers i shoot some when the Son , grandson, and i head to the range. Turkish 8mm, Chilean 7mm, and 6.5 Swedish. i have to say i enjoy that 7mm the most, altho the 6.5 is right up there.

    Forgot about my Mauser.

    A 98 Gewehr made in Berlin (Oberndorf) in 1915. Nazi Arsenal reconfigured to a KAR98 in 1943. (8mm)

    Had to trade a Armscor M20P (?) semi-auto rifle In .22lr with a UTG red dot scope for it. One of my better deals. 👍😁
